Widows' Ministry
Elgin Campus
God's Word instructs us, "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27
God’s Word is very clear that one of the priorities of the local church is to recognize and embrace widows within the church family. Our desire is that this ministry would touch the real needs in a widow's life.
Whether or not you call Harvest Bible Chapel your home, all widows are welcome to attend our widow Bible studies and seasonal events.
The Widows Ministry presents our fall/winter Bible studies with teachers Miriam Neff and Mary Senf! We meet
the second Saturday of the month from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. in Elgin Room N405
. Brunch is provided. Join us and bring a friend! No payment or RSVP required to attend.
Dates are listed below:
Saturday, February 11
N405
Saturday, March 10
N405
Saturday, April 14
N405
Our studies provide encouragement and biblical support on practical topics. We hope you can join us!
Any questions, contact Christina Hoagland at choagland@harvestbiblechapel.org.
